Hello ladies! I'm sorry I've been away for so long, I've missed you guys. I am 17 weeks pregnant! My husband and I are so excited. I've had alot going on, I'm taking 4 classes, working and pregnant, it's challenging. I don't know what i was thinking to take so many classes in my first trimester. I've also been getting the babys room ready and I'm almost done with my registry. I am a first time mom, so I have no idea what I'm doing. I thought I could do it all, but I can't and i hate it. I recently decided what profession I wanted to do for the rest of my life, nursing, RN. I've had so much going on, I just haven't had any time to do any reviews or anything. I love blogging, it's so much fun. Soon I will be getting into my normal routine. I hope you all are doing well =]

TOTD: Toes of the day- Purple Glittery Flowers

Products used & instructions:

I didnt use base coat, i dont know why i put it in the pic, lol.

1- apply 2 coats of a lilac color- sinful colors in purple diamond

2- apply 2 coats of purple glitter- sinful colors in frenzy

3- apply flower sticker- kiss 3D nail & toe art i used the white one with the pearl in the middle 3 of those, 2 big one & 1 small

4- apply a top coat- seche vite dry fast top coat

5- & you're done!

Products i used & instructions:

1- apply base coat- i used bright plus by rossie system nail hardener ( any base coat)

2- apply to one third of your nails- essie in status symbol ( neon pink)

3- apply to get to the middle of your nails- sinful colors in lets meet ( yellow)

4- apply to the rest of your nails sinful colors in hd nails ( light green, neon would be better but i didnt have one)

5- apply clear glitter- sinful colors smoking hot

6- wait for it to dry

7- do the zebra nail design with black nail polish- sinful colors in black on black

8- in between the zebra stripes apply silver glitter- sinful colors in queen of beauty

9- apply top coat- seche vite fast dry top coat for super fast drying

& you're done

Shoes: i got these at Target awhile ago they're not dirty, its just my imprint. i love them, i wear these when i want to dress up quickly

Perfume: Valentino Rock & Rose. I just got this bottle, its the big one i ran out of the small one. It has the most amazing scent, i love it!!

Review on Neutragena Glow sheers SPF 30

I bought this foundation a couple of weeks ago in the color light 25. On the front of the tube it says "healthy skin, natural radiant look, fresh feel, oil free." It does definitely give you a glow, it does feel fresh & doesnt feel oily. I believe that i got the right color for my skin. On the back of the tube it says " sheer natural coverage and just a touch of shimmer for a healthy radiant glow." Well it doesnt say anywhere what kind of coverage it gives you, it just says "natural coverage" i do see a nice glow, a little bit of shimmer i think. i think it feels very smooth, but once you run your fingers through your skin, the glow is gone. The texture of it is very light.

I bought this foundation because i tried the neutragena mineral sheers liquid makeup SPF 20 in the color nude40 & i loved it. I thought this one was going to be just as good, but total opposites. I will do a review on th mineral sheers one very soon.

My problem with this product was the coverage. It gives me no coverage what so ever! I really wanted to like this, but after using it only 2x its going back. I have some left over pigmentation & discoloration around my chin area due to breakouts, not actual breakouts. This foundation did nothing for me. I tried it with concealer under it, still the same- its like it erased the concealer kind of. I also tried it with concealer on the bottom & on the top the second time & it just looked cakey. I just had to wash off all my makeup. This foundation feels like a very light foundation & the coverage is of a tinted moisterizer honestly. I will not repurchase this, its going back. I'll stay with my Stila tinted moisterizer.

HOTD: Ponytail with a Bump

I just wanted to show you guys something i learned recently that im really excited about. A ponytail with a bump, without a bumpit & without teasing your hair.

I prefer the ponytail to be higher, but it was my first time doing it & it looked fine.

I really like it & im going to be doing it more often.

I think this is the best view, it looks awesome & i really had fun doing it.

last 3 are nyx: 503 medussa very dark, the darkest color i have

520 pandora, beautiful color i love it

lipgloss 115 african queen, the exact color of pandora ( some of nyx lipglosses smell fruity, this one is strawberries)

Peep-toe Nude Pumps

So TiffanyD just put up a post on nude pumps & first thing i thought wow, they look lovely. Then i remembered that i had some, but not the same as hers. I got them at Aldo awhile back. Mine have a peep toe, hers do not. i just wanted to do a post on these wonderful shoes because like with makeup, ive been neglecting great shoes. They make you look more sculpted, your calves look great.

They're perfect for the office, a nice dinner, a night out with the girls. You can basically wear them with anything. They're always going to be in style

455 mauve-ulous looks to me like a dark cranberry

005 pink sand, very light pink, really pretty

A22 metallic mauve, not mauve at all, darker than 005 but still very light pink

the 2 on the end: with letters in front smell like cucumber to me, they smell good

None of the mascaras are in waterproof because i dont particularly like that formula. i like non-waterproof because it comes off easier & anyway summer is over & i have 1 waterproof mascara open, ill use it up but the next time ill be using waterproff is next summer

h2o water activated eye makeup remover- im always on the look for a good one

h2o acne clarifying cleanser for face & body- this is my second tube, i like it. i only use it on my face

mac gilt by association eyeshadow- hopefully it wont irritate my eyes

mac fix+ ive used it everyday ever since i got it, i spray it on my face to set all my makeup

gilt by association, i wouldnt wear it at its maximum color, or as a crease color, i think its too pretty. i wear it lightly over my lid with cork all around the edges to blend really well. with concealer on the bottom of course so it doesnt irritate my eyes. i wore it to work & its gorgeous, my favorite color. i love it more than satin taupe my all time favorite

i love everything i got! the lipsticks are amazing, so pigmented, so smooth & long lasting. ive seen some reviews that some of them might smell a little weird, not mine they smell fine. i love how on the bottom the lipsticks are squared instead of round. ive completely failed at project 5 pan, i finished one lipbalm thing & then i saw all these lipsticks & fell in love. but i will continue on project 5 pan, lets see how it goes.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Today i went to my orthodontist & she told me that i will be getting my braces off in 5 weeks. I can not be more happy! Im so excited, they're finally coming off. I've had them for almost two years & it's about time. She also let me know that i will be getting top retainers, i already knew i was going to have it on the bottom. This is going to be so great cause i never have to worry about my teeth moving. I'm also going to have a clear removeable retainer, im not sure what that one's for, i guess to make sure nothing moves. I can't wait to have a perfect smile.

We're not all perfect & there's something about you that you don't like, you can either change it (if you can, there are things we cant change) or learn to love it. I do what makes me happy, like makeup makes me happy, it makes me very happy. I definitely did not partucularly love my smile, i feel so lucky to be able to do something about it. Because let me tell you, it doesnt come cheap. I do recommend braces if you can & if you're unhappy with your smile. It is uncomfortable at times & you cant eat certain things, but in my opinion completely worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I wont show you before and after pictures because i dont even look at them. Im just looking at the future, but when they come off there will be many pictures

*Makeup of the Day!

I used my Coastal scents palette. I used in the purple row: the third from the bottom on my lid, the second from the bottom on my crease and on the bottom back half of my lower lashline. On the first row: i used the fourth one (tan looking) to blend the harsh edges & as a highlight. I didnt use any black because i wanted it to be a little subtle.

Mascara: YSL faux cils the maroon color i have

Eye liner: top lashline loreal carbon black linear intense liquid liner.

Bottom lashline milani pencil in purple, its like a pinkish purple.

* I'm using a lot of purples & greens lately, coincidently both are good fall colors.

* Avon: Midnight Plum- The perfect shade of dark purple. It's so rich, creamy & thick. A great option for fall. Fall colors include, dark shades of purple, brown, red, orange anything like that.

REVIEW: This color is one of my favorite in my collection because of it's richness in color, the best color i have. It is true to the color on the bottle, i only use two coats, but you can get away with one thick coat. I prefer to do two coats & have it all even than one coat, personally.

OVERALL: I do love this color, but it has it's downsides. I will use this color because its beautiful. I will keep it for comparison, i want to find the same color from a different brand, a more reliable brand. for example: china glaze or opi, essie. On the other hand, i wouldnt repurchase it because this color chips fairly quickly & that makes me not want to wear it anymore & take it off.

*Sally Hansen-crystal chrome nail makeup in champagne crystal: This color is a silky off white, pearly shade.

REVIEW: This product goes on very smooth, not thick at all thats what i like about it. It's a pearly, silvery white. It's off-white kind of silver, in shade but when light hits it, it turns white. It's a very pretty shade. I have it on my nails right now. I usually us it to do my french tips & also for my konad, it works really well for the designs.

OVERALL: I think this color is great, the pigmentation is awesome. I would repurchase this shade, but unfortunately i think they're discontinued. I havent been able to find any of these. Ebay would be the next place to look. Great product, mostly all sally hansen products are good in general

*Sally Hansen-Blue Moon: I have it on my toes right now, i love the color.

REVIEW: This color is really silky, not very thick, it has a glaze not any kind of glitter, just shimmery. I've had it on my toes for a week & it has not chipped.

OVERALL: I would totally repurchase this product because it's in one of my favorite colors(babyblue) it does not chip & it lasts on a really long time. Great product, i recommend it

* Essie: One of a Kind- A mix of red and orange. The red is a little more dominant. It was such a good color for summer because its a lighter red.

This has been the first time having it on, i dont have a review on it yet. But i'll tell you that it goes on the exact color on the bottle, i would do another coat, but thats it. You really dont need another coat.
